D.A. Guys VS Rufisque September 26-07

                This week, the D.A Varsity Volleyball team played its second game of the season.  I had watched their previous game and I saw them get dominated by an obviously superior team. However their second game there was a great improvement. Their new uniforms projected the image of a strong, formidable team. Good teamwork and talent gave them a good advantage over their opponents. Unfortunately, the teams experience wasn’t enough to give them a win and lost the first match. In the second  match, the team managed to pick up some momentum and pull a win. With Brett’s setting skill and Eric’s deadly spikes the team was able to strike with vigor and strength. Caleb, Brock, and Eric provided the team with superior defense. The team’s lineup proved to be well-built and talented but it wasn’t enough to win the match. The lack of people present at the game may have had an effect. After all, what’s home court advantage without a crowd?
