General

  • ALL NEW STUDENTS please come to the Front office today during lunch to have your ID picture taken.
  • New students and staff need to take yearbook pictures Tuesday (14th) in the shelter during lunch. Dress appropriately, no white, collared shirts preferred.
  • If you won a MS/HS superlative, we will be taking pictures anytime between today and next week. We will inform you before if we need you to dress a certain way. Thanks, Journalism class.
  • NHS officers, class officers, and student senate officers also need to have pictures taken during lunch Thursday 16th.
  • Outreach Practice on Sunday from 3-5 in the Auditorium.
  • Drama team we have practice on top of the sand castle Mon. and Tues. night from 6:45 to 8.
  • NHS officers meet during lunch in the library.
  • There is NO KRASH today. We will be starting next Thursday. Mr. Bradbury.
  • Correction: DA JV Gold softball practice on Fri. at 4:45 is on the PP court, not on the field.
  • Homework Club reconvenes today after school in D23.
  • All Students: From now on the bathrooms in the new C building will be left open all the time. Thanks in advance for helping to keep them clean.
  • Any students who still need a permission slip for going on the outreach weekend can get one from Aunt Faith.
  • If you are a junior or senior with a M-F study hall and you would be interested in supervising the check-out desk in the library, please see Mrs. A.
  • Potential Programmers, If any student currently in grade 9-11 is interested in taking a Programming class next year please let me know. Mr. Bradbury.
  • Laminating will be done on Friday.
  • Worship Teams: we’ll have a meeting for all teams at lunch on Monday to get organized. New people are welcome.
  • ATTENTION: Olympic Day is only 3 weeks away! All those interested in training for Olympic Days and for being a part of the track club, meet after school Friday at 3:30 pm. By the weights. Questions? Ask Aunt Leigh Tanquist.
  • Any students who were not here first semester and would like to play team handball, write your name on the team handball teams list locate on the bulletin board by the blue top. All team handball captains MUST meet me in my office at lunch to get team handball rules. Mr. Mac
  • Do you love to sing? Or do you play the piano well? Chamber Choir is looking for new members, including a rehearsal pianist/accompanist!  We will be learning an exciting and unusual collection of music this semester. Auditions are THIS WEEK ONLY, and are open to all high school students. Audition sign-up sheet is on the door of Mr. Sappington’s new office (A-4: next to the parent’s parking lot). Questions? See Mr. Sappington.
  • Library/Computer use: Students must have a pass stating the purpose of their visit to the library AND the amount of time they can be there. Library Computers are for school work only. Anyone caught doing other things will lose comp. privileges. No one may monopolize a computer for an entire period.
  • MP-3 players (i-pods) are never to be used during classes. Any student doing so will have the device confiscated and be given an immediate detention.
  • Student Aides: 2nd semester assignments are posted on the bulletin board.
  • HS Students: If your schedule changed and you need to have a copy, stop in the office and ask Aunt Faith.

(Because these should have been taken care of at the end of last semester, anybody who still owes a fine will not be allowed to check out any new books until they have paid it.   • Boys Handball Team 1 needs to meet on the blue top during lunch.
  • Boys handball Team 2 needs to meet in the shelter during lunch today.
  • Varsity softball practice today at 3:30.
