Jan Finck |

Jan and her husband,
Vern, have been involved with DA since 1986, when they unpacked
their first crate in the DA parking lot before moving to Kaolack.
They have taken turns being on the DA Board over those years. In
addition, Vern has acted as the architect and supervisor of many of
the buildings on campus. Jan has filled the roles of teacher,
sponsor, and parent. The three Finck children graduated from DA (Dary
-2000, Rashae - 2002, and Lani – 2007). At this time, Jan is
fulfilling the role of Board Chair. |

Charley Campbell |

Charley teaches Old
Testament at the Evangelical Theological Institute of Senegal (ITES)
and is also in charge of the school’s library and finding good books
in French. He and his wife Sherry ministered at a Bible school in
northern Cote d’Ivoire before coming to Senegal. They have two
children at DA: Erica, an 8th grader, and Brian, a 5th
grader.]

Laura Davis |

Laura has been in
Senegal since 1997 and has served on the DA Board for 5 years. She,
Bryan and their 6 year-old twins, Téa and Ethan, are currently
living in Saint-Louis. Their primary focus is church planting.

Tad Hampton |
|
 |
Tad, along with his
wife, Jane, serves in Dakar with United World Mission. He
participates in ministries related to leadership training and urban
church planting, as well as team administration. Tad and Jane’s
daughters Anna and Allison graduated from DA in 2002 and 2005,
respectively. Son Jonathan is in 7th grade this year. The
Hamptons came to Senegal in 1993 and Tad has served on the DA Board
since then, not counting several furlough years. He is currently the
non-titled member of its Executive Committee. |

Chad Reynolds |

Chad was born and raised
in northeastern Oklahoma. After graduating from Oklahoma Baptist
University, he joined the International Mission Board (Southern
Baptist Mission) as their financial manager first in Conakry, Guinea
and then in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire where he met Crystal, the beautiful
Texas belle who would become his wife. After a hiatus to establish a
family and continue education at Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary, Chad returned to West Africa to serve Southern Baptists on
the Financial Facilitation Team in Dakar. Chad and Crystal have two
boys – Chase (3) and Caleb (1). |

Jennifer Bowers |

Jennifer Bowers
has served on the D.A School Board on and off since 2001. She is the
mother of a D.A. grad ('03) & staff member, and three children in the
dorms. She also taught at D.A. part-time for one year, so she has
experience of the school from multiple perspectives.
Jennifer and husband Jim
have served with United World Mission in MALI since 1984, where they
are church-planters among the Fulani. For their first twelve years of
service, they worked among the Malinké. Jennifer speaks Bambara
fluently but has barely made a dent in Pulaar |

Lisa Seaward |

Lisa
is a WorldVenture missionary to Mali, along with her husband, Tom, and
children Hilary, Ben and Caleb. Hilary hopes to graduate in 2010 from
DA; Ben in 2014 and Caleb in 2018. For now, Lisa teaches Ben and
Caleb at home. The Sewards are involved in church growth ministries
including outreach and technical support for radio, literacy and
Christian education. Lisa personally enjoys reading, traveling,
cooking (and eating!) and games |
