doing some career exploration by talking to staff members and doing some
online investigation.

SAT no later than May of
your Junior year.

ACT is offered in October
and February – check to see if your prospective colleges prefer ACT
scores.

Are you an international
student who may need to take the
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)? Check with your
prospective colleges to see if they require a TOEFL score. You may want
to take the TOEFL in the spring of your junior year.

Choose a strong Senior
year academic schedule of classes.

scholarships.
