Dakar Academy's 245 students differ in nationality, personality, and culture. 164 (79%) of the student body are missionary kids (MKs). There are currently 51 students living in five boarding homes.

Students are offered a variety of courses from which to choose. Students must earn 22 credits plus 1 credit of Bible for every year enrolled at DA in order to graduate, specifics can be found on the graduation requirements page. If Students at DA qualify they can become members of The National Honor Society, Teranga Chapter, of Dakar Academy. This is a duly chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. More information on the Qualifications can be found in the NHS information Document.

DA is featuring a new study tool available for some elementary and computer classes: the Moodle! Each student is given a log in and password so they can check homework and other class activities on line at www.dakar-academy.org/moodle.
