Dakar Academy's 215 students differ in nationality, personality, and culture. 170 (76%) of the student body are missionary kids (MKs). There are currently 50 students living in five boarding homes. High School students are offered a variety of courses from which to choose. Students must earn 22 credits plus 1 credit of Bible for every year enrolled at DA in order to graduate, specifics can be found on the graduation requirements page. Student expectations and guidelines are outlined in Dakar Academy's Student-Parent Handbook. Guidance has information about course offerings, course descriptions, enrolling in courses, study helps, and testing. Don't miss this goldmine of information. If high school students at DA qualify they can become members of The National Honor Society, Teranga Chapter, of Dakar Academy. This is a duly chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. More information on the Qualifications can be found in the NHS information Document.
