College & Careers
“College & Careers” is a 1-semester class required for all 10th graders. Students are led in a series of explorations into knowing themselves better, utilizing a variety of inventories and tools such as the Career Key, along with investigating current and future career possibilities. Individual counseling is also available to assist families with exploring post-high-school options.
Each spring, students in grades 8 – 11 select their classes for the following year. 8th graders meet with the guidance counselor to make their first high school decisions, and 11th graders are presented with a credit evaluation to ensure that they will meet graduation requirements.
