Evan and Jewel Evans

Evan and Jewel served at the International Christian Academy (I.C.A.) in Cote d'Ivoire, W. Africa for 20 years. I.C.A. was evacuated in 2002 due to civil unrest, and they moved to Senegal, W. Africa to work at Dakar Academy where they currently serve as DA's Boarding administrators and lead other campus ministries, including Outreach programs, discipleship ministries, and the Sunday worship program at DA.

The Evans have 4 daughters, all of whom are married and serving the Lord overseas, and 7 grandchildren.

The Evans' greatest passion in life is a hunger for God's manifest presence in their daily lives and for Him to do a NEW THING in their lives. As chaplains, they greatly desire to lead people into God's manifest presence.

Aaron and Amber Maxwell

In addition to parenting their own two boys, Beckett and Reese, Aaron and Amber are home parents to middle and high school girls in the boarding program at DA. Prior to arriving at DA in 2015, they served as resident assistants at a boarding school in South Korea.  Amber is a graduate of Dakar Academy, and both she and Aaron have a heart for third culture kids and MKs, and a passion for serving missionary families. “If the parents feel as though they [their kids] are being loved and cared for and all their needs are being met they are able to continue serving in their ministries without any worry,” Amber says.  “It really allows them to fulfill the calling that the Lord has placed on their life.”
