STUDENT AIDES
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS (ELL): Designed to meet the needs of students with limited proficiency. Students spend 1-2 periods every day with one-on-one or small group instruction learning the four language skills, i.e. reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English.
SPECIAL EDUCATION: Available for students who have documented learning challenges. Our program is Resource Room based but encourages inclusion. Parents, teachers, and administrators work together to provide the best support possible through Individualized Education Plans (IEP) such as accommodations, modifications, and/or individual instruction.
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY: Offering Dakar’s only English-Language SLP assessments, evaluations and sessions.
